Go8 Librarians

Go8 University Librarians have been meeting since 1999. The group usually meets twice a year in association with Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) meetings.

The Go8 librarians conducted a cost-benefit study in 2009 to assess the value of the information resources provided by libraries to their research communities.

The current work plan of the group focuses on working with publishers to develop new pricing models for large and expensive full-text journal databases.
